Drink lots of water before and after the class – our sessions will get you sweating, so water is essential.
Make sure your body gets sufficient nutrients before the class – you will need the energy!
Closed-toe shoes are a requirement and breathable clothing. Check out our merchandise boutique for some great, fashionable options!
For first-time users, we have a Versaclimber in the reception area of our studio. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes in advance for a short introduction to the machine and the LVL UP facility.
PRIOR TO THE CLIMB
The Class Basics:
Our classes are composed of a 7-minute warm-up, followed by 30 minutes of exercise, and conclude with a 7-minute cooldown.
When you arrive, give your name at reception, and our team will check you in, confirm your class and inform you which climber you will be using. If you have any questions – now is the time to ask!
When you sign up for a class online, you will complete an online waiver. There will also be waivers available in the studio, for those who sign up on the spot. Any climbers under the age of 18 need a parent or legal guardian to sign the waiver in order to participate in the class.
Setting Up to LVL UP
Take it Slow:
Climbing can take time to become accustomed to. It is important to not rush the movements or become discouraged if you have difficulty maintaining the pace. Take breaks when you need them, and don’t be shy to ask for help.
LVL UP as a Team:
For the best experience for the entire class, an open mind and a great attitude go a long way. Our LVL UP community extends beyond the studio classroom.
LVL UP Lingo:
Our instructors will call out the movements and different sequences by name. Over time, you will become acquainted with these terms and new terms as you go.
FORM IS EVERYTHING
Our experienced instructors will guide you through the proper technique and form. Here are several tips to keep in mind:
GENRES OF MUSIC
In each of our classes, you can choose the genre of music that you want to complete your workout too.
